We are WaterCare Services Ltd and Auckland Council approved contractors as well as contracting/sub-contracting to the private sector since the company was created. We cover all private & residential drainage, commercial & subdivisions.We will also subcontract to the commercial civils sector.
Sanitary Sewer & Stormwater Data Capture (Inverting) and Auditing Services
Scouting; locating; inspecting, and as-building infrastructure (all inlets and outlets), including manholes situated on the roadway,. Galaxie Drainage Contractors have a complete Traffic Management division, fully certified by Transit NZ for this purpose. We also provide independent Level 1 Traffic Management for other contractors.
Thorough connectivity investigations, including CCTV and dye testing. Preparation of relevant plans and data invert sheets.
Liaising where required with other consultants, authorities and interested parties
We are also able to provide high-quality detailed photographic & CCTV evidence of various or unusual features in manholes/pipelines.
Quality Control Audits are undertaken in the main for Auckland Council where original data has been obtained by another contractor
Galaxie Contractors has been engaged by Auckland Council recently to represent Council on-site as H&S coordinator for large drainage projects in the City.
John Buchanan was on the Auckland Council discussion panel for drainage/confined space H&S best practice techniques.
Consultancy Services
Conferring and liaising with independent engineers and/or consultants on specific job sites; discussing drainage requirements and problems; troubleshooting and providing suitable solutions to meet with Local Authorities or the relevant authorities’ drainage specifications and requirements.
Perusing; liaising and discussing data collected, making recommendations and planning and report preparation.
